Although there's been a Thunderbird in the Ford lineup since 1955 the sporty two-seater convertible only lasted until 1957. In those 3 years the Thunderbird would come head to head with the Chevrolet Corvette. Only roughly 16,000 of these were made before discontinuing production.

The interior is made from an Italian red-dyed leather with new matching carpeting both in the cab and the trunk.
